HAR RECOMMENDS INCUMBENT HOUSTON MAYOR SYLVESTER TURNER IN DECEMBER RUNOFF ELECTION

HOUSTON — (November 25, 2019) — The Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) has announced its support of Incumbent Sylvester Turner for re-election as Mayor of Houston in the Saturday, December 14 runoff election. In making the announcement, HAR Chair of the Board Shannon Cobb Evans recognized Mayor Turner’s advocacy for the citizens and communities of Houston.

“Mayor Turner is working every day to build a better future for Houston that includes affordable housing, active growing neighborhoods and flood mitigation,” said Cobb Evans. “His experience in the state legislature leads to an understanding of how to work with all levels of government. These relationships will help him lead Houston into the future.”  

Houston REALTORS® support political candidates and public policies at all levels of government that uphold private property rights, real property ownership, build strong communities, and create a vibrant business environment.
