2019 marks the 12th HAR facilitated Texas Realtors® Leadership Program. The mission of the Texas Realtors® Leadership Program is to develop community and organizational leaders to become contributors to their community and their businesses and enrich their personal and professional lives.
How can I submit an application?

Who's eligible to apply?
Any Realtor® member of the Houston Association of Realtors® who is in good standing. Applicants must be a full-time Realtor® and have been in the business for no less than two years as of March 22, 2019.
What is the deadline?
Applications must be submitted by March 22, 2019 at 5pm.
Can I make changes to my submitted application?
No. All submissions are final. For any questions or inquiries about corrections, please contact Rita Blevins at 713-629-1900 ext 263 or email before March 22, 2019.
What can I expect from the program?
TRLP offers participants and graduates an ongoing opportunity to meet other motivated leaders and to share an intensive learning experience that focuses on community issues and leadership skills. The purpose of TRLP is to prepare the next generation of Texas Realtors® to meet future challenges. The program provides participants with lectures, seminars, guest speakers, group discussions and leadership exercises that address vital issues affecting Texas Realtors®. The dynamic format stimulates vigorous and animated discussions and involvement by all participants.
What is the Selection Process?
The Leadership Selection Task Force will review all applications that are submitted by the deadline. Due to space limitations, not all eligible applicants are guaranteed acceptance into the program.
Can my broker or colleague provide supporting letters?
Recommendation letters in support of your application can be written by anyone you have worked with or for. They must be submitted online via the link on the application form. No e-mail, faxes, or snail mail will be accepted. A minimum of two letters of recommendation are required.
How will I know if my application was received?
An e-mail acknowledgment will be sent to the address listed in the application to confirm receipt of the submitted form. If it's determined that the application is incomplete or missing some information a second e-mail will be sent.
How and when will I be notified of the Selection Committee's decision?
All applicants will be notified of their status via e-mail or phone by March 29, 2019.
Is there a fee for the program?
Yes, the fee for the TRLP program is $549. If selected, the fee would be due on or before April 25, 2019. *Payment Plan Option is available for all members selected to participate.
If selected, do I have to attend all sessions?
Yes. To graduate from the Leadership Program, Realtors® must attend all sessions.
