When we compared Hunters Creek Elementary School, which is a part of SPRING BRANCH ISD, with Woodview Elementary School, which is a part of SPRING BRANCH ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Hunters Creek Elementary School's two out of seven distinctions are in post-secondary and 25% closing performance gaps. Woodview Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Hunters Creek Elementary School. They make up for 61.33% of student population, followed by Hispanics (16.18%), Asians (11.97%), Two or More Races (5.18%), African Americans (5.02%) and Native Americans (0.32%).
At Woodview Elementary School, Hispanics make up 88.21% of student population, followed by African Americans (5.71%), Whites or Caucasians (3.57%), Asians (1.25%), Native Americans (0.71%) and Two or More Races (0.54%).
Based on household incomes, the Hunters Creek Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 19.74% compared to 96.07% at Woodview Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Hunters Creek Elementary School has 61 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 9.87% of student population. Woodview Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 381 or about 68.04% of student population.
Hunters Creek Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 9.71%, gifted and talented students, 13.43%, while 12.14% are in the special education program. Woodview Elementary School bilingual students comprise 67.86%, gifted and talented students, 2.50%, and 14.82% are in the special education program.
