Egly Elementary School's six out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Cromack Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Egly Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 97.75% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (1.50%), African Americans (0.38%) and Native Americans (0.38%). There is no Asians and Two or More Racesstudents in the school.
At Cromack Elementary School, Hispanics make up 96.61% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (3.18%) and Asians (0.21%). There is no African Americans, Native Americans and Two or More Racesstudents in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Egly Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 92.68% compared to 99.36% at Cromack Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Egly Elementary School has 223 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 41.84% of student population. Cromack Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 284 or about 60.17% of student population.
Egly Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 41.46%, gifted and talented students, 5.44%, while 17.26% are in the special education program. Cromack Elementary School bilingual students comprise 60.17%, gifted and talented students, 5.08%, and 14.19% are in the special education program.
