East Early College High School’s regular student population is 448 with a student-teacher ratio of 18.2 students/teacher ratio. The student population at Long Academy is 833 students and a student-teacher ratio of 17.5 students/teacher ratio.
East Early College High School performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A (90-100) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 97 in student achievement, 96 in school progress and an impressive100 in closing performance gaps. It scored 98 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.
On the other hand, Long Academy earned a State accountability rating of B. The school posted 79 in student achievement, 86 in school progress, 74 in closing performance gaps and 82 overall in post-secondary readiness.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
East Early College High School's two out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA) and 25% closing performance gaps. Long Academy did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in East Early College High School is Hispanics who make up nearly 91.29% of student population, followed by African Americans (4.02%), Asians (3.57%), Whites or Caucasians (0.45%), Native Americans (0.22%) and Two or More Races (0.22%).
At Long Academy, Hispanics make up 72.27% of student population, followed by African Americans (15.37%), Asians (8.16%), Whites or Caucasians (3.72%), Two or More Races (0.36%) and Native Americans (0.12%).
Based on household incomes, the East Early College High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 80.13% compared to 98.32% at Long Academy.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, East Early College High School has 45 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 10.04% of student population. Long Academy has significantly more ELLs at 535 or about 64.23% of student population.
East Early College High School’s bilingual students comprise 9.82%, gifted and talented students, 45.54%, while 0.67% are in the special education program. Long Academy bilingual students comprise 63.51%, gifted and talented students, 8.52%, and 7.92% are in the special education program.
