Choosing the best possible elementary school is critical to a child’s foundational development. In Texas, public school districts adopt curriculum standards set by the State Board of Education. When we compared Danish Elementary School, which is a part of CYPRESS-FAIRBANKS ISD, with Rennell Elementary School, which is a part of CYPRESS-FAIRBANKS ISD, we noted a big difference in ratings.
Danish Elementary School has a regular student population of 953 with a 12.9 students/teacher ratio while Rennell Elementary School has 1,181 students and a student-teacher ratio of 18 students/teacher ratio.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Distinction Designations for Danish Elementary School and Rennell Elementary School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Danish Elementary School. They make up for 43.34% of student population, followed by African Americans (35.78%), Whites or Caucasians (10.18%), Asians (7.03%), Two or More Races (2.94%) and Native Americans (0.73%).
The student population at Rennell Elementary School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 35.48%, followed by Hispanics (23.88%), Asians (23.54%), African Americans (11.94%), Two or More Races (5.00%) and Native Americans (0.08%).
Based on household incomes, Danish Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 81.22% compared to 20.07% at Rennell Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Danish Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 27.60% of its student population compared to 13.04% at Rennell Elementary School.
In addition, Danish Elementary School has 26.86% bilingual students, 3.15% are in the gifted and talented program, while 12.49% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Rennell Elementary School with 12.28% bilingual students, 12.87% gifted and talented students and 9.14% students in the special education program.
