Kenneth Davis Elementary School performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A (90-100) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 78 in student achievement, 93 in school progress and 86 in closing performance gaps. Both schools garnered only three distinction designations or awards for performance. These are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, African Americans comprise the biggest group at Kenneth Davis Elementary School. They make up for 43.88% of student population, followed by Hispanics (28.06%), Whites or Caucasians (15.82%), Two or More Races (6.27%), Asians (5.67%) and Native Americans (0.30%).

The student population at Della Icenhower Intermediate is also predominantly by African Americans at 49.35%, followed by Hispanics (22.49%), Asians (13.11%), Whites or Caucasians (9.71%), Two or More Races (4.37%) and Native Americans (0.81%).

Based on household incomes, Kenneth Davis Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly higher at 73.43% compared to 66.67% at Della Icenhower Intermediate.
