Haltom High School earned a State accountability rating of C (70-79) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 68 in student achievement, 74 in school progress and 81 in closing performance gaps. It scored 76 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.

On the other hand, Birdville High School earned a State accountability rating of B. The school posted 84 in student achievement, 80 in school progress, 92 in closing performance gaps and 86 overall in post-secondary readiness.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

Birdville High School's two out of seven distinctions are in Science and 25% closing performance gaps. Haltom High School has no distinction.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Haltom High School. They make up for 63.62% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (18.39%), African Americans (9.54%), Asians (5.88%), Two or More Races (1.92%) and Native Americans (0.29%).

The student population at Birdville High School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 45.62%, followed by Hispanics (34.40%), African Americans (11.95%), Asians (3.68%), Two or More Races (3.63%) and Native Americans (0.44%).

Based on household incomes, Haltom High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 68.88% compared to 40.59% at Birdville High School.

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Haltom High School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 33.08% of its student population compared to 14.47% at Birdville High School.

In addition, Haltom High School has 32.93% bilingual students, 4.57% are in the gifted and talented program, while 9.25% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Birdville High School with 14.27% bilingual students, 10.84% gifted and talented students and 11.47% students in the special education program.

Birdville High School's 120 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 8 years with individual teaching experience averaging close to 13.2 years.

In both schools, female teachers outnumber the male teachers. Haltom High School employs 90 female teachers and 70 male teachers.
