When we compared Wilkerson Intermediate, which is a part of CONROE ISD, with Mccullough Junior High School, which is a part of CONROE ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.
Wilkerson Intermediate’s regular student population is 709 with a 13.6 students/teacher ratio. The student population at Mccullough Junior High School is 2,194 students and a 17.5 students/teacher ratio.
Wilkerson Intermediate earned a State accountability rating of B (80-89) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 87 in student achievement, 89 in school progress and 88 in closing performance gaps. It scored 89 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.
On the other hand, Mccullough Junior High School performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A. The school posted 94 in student achievement, 92 in school progress, 93 in closing performance gaps and 94 overall in post-secondary readiness.
