Tompkins High School performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A (90-100) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 94 in student achievement, 90 in school progress and 96 in closing performance gaps. It scored 95 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.

On the other hand, Jordan High School also performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A. The school posted 93 in student achievement, 90 in school progress, 95 in closing performance gaps and 94 overall in post-secondary readiness.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

Both schools garnered all of seven distinction designations or awards for outstanding performance. These are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Asians comprise the biggest group at Tompkins High School. They make up for 34.91% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (29.90%), Hispanics (22.29%), African Americans (9.35%), Two or More Races (3.20%) and Native Americans (0.29%).

The student population at Jordan High School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 32.57%, followed by Asians (29.12%), Hispanics (24.58%), African Americans (9.98%), Two or More Races (3.43%) and Native Americans (0.18%).

Based on household incomes, Tompkins High School’s economically disadvantaged students is higher at 16.74% compared to 16.59% at Jordan High School.

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Tompkins High School has 193 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 6.12% of student population. Jordan High School has significantly more ELLs at 218 or about 6.55% of student population.

Tompkins High School’s bilingual students comprise 5.90%, gifted and talented students, 19.66%, while 8.72% are in the special education program. Jordan High School bilingual students comprise 6.37%, gifted and talented students, 17.37%, and 8.95% are in the special education program.

Tompkins High School's 183 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 7.8 years with individual teaching experience averaging nearly 12.3 years. Jordan High School's 192 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 5.6 years with individual teaching experience averaging close to 10.2 years.

Of its teaching staff, Tompkins High School has one teacher only serving the school for over 30 years, has 29 teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, 60 teachers have worked for 11-20 years, 49 teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while 32 teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, including 12 beginning teachers. Jordan High School has one teacher only serving the school for over 30 years, has 15 teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, 65 teachers have worked for 11-20 years, 53 teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while 48 teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, including 11 beginning teachers.

In both schools, female teachers outnumber the male teachers. Tompkins High School employs 104 female teachers and 78 male teachers.
