Lewisville High School earned a State accountability rating of D (60-69) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 69 in student achievement, 70 in school progress and 58 in closing performance gaps. It scored 66 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.

On the other hand, Marcus High School performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A. The school posted 91 in student achievement, 80 in school progress, 93 in closing performance gaps and 92 overall in post-secondary readiness.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

Marcus High School's two out of seven distinctions are in Science and Social Studies. Lewisville High School has no distinction.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Lewisville High School. They make up for 60.74% of student population, followed by African Americans (18.83%), Whites or Caucasians (11.05%), Asians (5.73%), Two or More Races (3.05%) and Native Americans (0.45%).

At Marcus High School, Whites or Caucasians are the biggest group, comprising 61.94% of student population, followed by Hispanics (18.21%), Asians (10.51%), African Americans (4.30%), Two or More Races (4.14%) and Native Americans (0.70%).

Based on household incomes, Lewisville High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 66.92% compared to 10.11% at Marcus High School.

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Lewisville High School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 40.34% of its student population compared to 4.67% at Marcus High School.

In addition, Lewisville High School has 39.66% bilingual students, 7.88% are in the gifted and talented program, while 18.88% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Marcus High School with 4.34% bilingual students, 18.25% gifted and talented students and 14.24% students in the special education program.
