Berry Middle School was accorded a State accountability rating of C (70-79) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Both schools garnered only one distinction designation or award for performance. For Berry Middle School this is in Science while Agnew Middle School secured one for Mathematics.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, African Americans comprise the biggest group at Berry Middle School. They make up for 50.25% of student population, followed by Hispanics (35.85%), Whites or Caucasians (8.38%), Two or More Races (2.18%), Asians (1.84%) and Native Americans (1.34%).

At Agnew Middle School, Hispanics are the biggest group, comprising 58.41% of student population, followed by African Americans (21.31%), Whites or Caucasians (13.83%), Two or More Races (3.27%), Asians (1.50%) and Native Americans (1.50%).

Based on household incomes, the Berry Middle School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 74.20% compared to 78.22% at Agnew Middle School.
