Mckinney High School performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A (90-100) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 90 in student achievement, 90 in school progress and 94 in closing performance gaps. Mckinney High School's five out of seven distinctions are in Mathematics, Social Studies, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Princeton Sr High School did not earn any distinction.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Mckinney High School. They make up for 36.60% of student population, followed by Hispanics (34.83%), African Americans (19.18%), Asians (4.88%), Two or More Races (3.87%) and Native Americans (0.49%).

The student population at Princeton Sr High School is also predominantly by Hispanics at 46.43%, followed by Whites or Caucasians (22.50%), African Americans (22.19%), Two or More Races (4.28%), Asians (4.04%) and Native Americans (0.16%).
