Judson Early College Academy performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A (90-100) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 97 in student achievement, 96 in school progress and 98 in closing performance gaps. It scored 97 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.

On the other hand, Veterans Memorial High School earned a State accountability rating of C. The school posted 75 in student achievement, 80 in school progress, 78 in closing performance gaps and 79 overall in post-secondary readiness.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

It is in this area where the two schools differ. Judson Early College Academy's four out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Social Studies and post-secondary. Veterans Memorial High School’s only distinction designation is in Social Studies.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Judson Early College Academy. They make up for 59.13% of student population, followed by African Americans (17.35%), Whites or Caucasians (16.44%), Asians (4.34%) and Two or More Races (2.51%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.

At Veterans Memorial High School, Hispanics are the biggest group, comprising 57.67% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (18.31%), African Americans (14.45%), Two or More Races (5.70%), Asians (2.66%) and Native Americans (0.32%).

Based on household incomes, the Judson Early College Academy’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 48.40% compared to 52.66% at Veterans Memorial High School.

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Judson Early College Academy has 28 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 6.39% of student population. Veterans Memorial High School has significantly more ELLs at 133 or about 8.43% of student population.

Judson Early College Academy’s bilingual students comprise 5.71%, gifted and talented students, 26.48%, while 2.74% are in the special education program. Veterans Memorial High School bilingual students comprise 8.37%, gifted and talented students, 7.92%, and 14.77% are in the special education program.

Judson Early College Academy's 21 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 10.9 years with individual teaching experience averaging nearly 16.5 years. Veterans Memorial High School's 107 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 5.9 years with individual teaching experience averaging close to 11.3 years.

Of its teaching staff, Judson Early College Academy no teacher serving the school for over 30 years, has ten teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, six teachers have worked for 11-20 years, three teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while three teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, and school has no beginning teacher. Veterans Memorial High School has seven teachers serving the school for over 30 years, has 13 teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, 25 teachers have worked for 11-20 years, 30 teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while 33 teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, including one beginning teacher only.

In both schools, female teachers outnumber the male teachers. Judson Early College Academy employs 13 female teachers and seven male teachers. Of its teaching staff, one teacher is in special education without any assistance. The school also employs one staff members in the school administration department and four more working as school support staff.

On the other hand, Veterans Memorial High School employs 56 female teachers and 51 male teachers. Of its teaching staff, 26 special education teachers are being assisted by 11 teachers aides or paraprofessionals.
