Claire Wilkins' real estate clients benefit from decades of experience. A licensed Realtor since 1981, and a resident of Houston since 1967, she has been a Top Producer for many years and has sold some of the city's most expensive homes. A resident of River Oaks, Claire specializes in this neighborhood, as well as in Oaks Estates, Royden Oaks, Avalon Place, Afton Oaks, West University, Southampton, Bellaire, Tanglewood and Memorial. "I know and understand Houston real estate," she says. "I carefully research the market, whether a client is listing their home with me or I am asked to help them find a home." Claire listens to her clients' wants and needs. She uses market research, combined with her many years of experience, to help them accomplish their goals. Client loyalty is another attribute Claire is known for. "I am very devoted to my clients," she says, adding that they range from families to empty-nesters to young people purchasing their first home. "They deal with me, not with an assistant, and I am always available to them. No one works harder for their clients than I do." Born in Bay City, Texas, Claire grew up in a ranching and farming family-an experience that taught her about integrity and honesty and gave her an innate understanding of people. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She decided to pursue a career in real estate after raising her children because it would be a new challenge and a profession that had always interested her. Active in the local community, Claire has served as a member of the Houston Zoo Board, the Houston Ballet Board and the Galveston 1894 Opera House Board; the president of the River Oaks Country Club Women's Association; and the Chairman of "The Nutcracker Market." Her hobbies include hunting, boating, horses, travel, reading, current events, gardening and the arts.
