Bio for Christy Goldrup: Licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas. Previously licensed in IL, IL & FL. Christy opened Frontdoor Real Estate Group, TX in June 2015 on a mission to further grow her business and expand into the urban living market & lifestyle. A veteran of the real estate business for over 12 years, Christy previously co-owned and operated a real estate agency, Frontdoor Realty Group, where she focused exclusively on New Home Builders and Developers in the Chicago-land suburbs and became the exclusive Broker Liaison to one of the top five home-builders in the market. When her passion evolved towards the city vs. the suburbs of Chicago, she decided to join the @properties team in 2008, whose extraordinary Brokers and agents she greatly enjoyed working with until she decided in 2012 to move back to Austin, TX to be closer to her family. Back in Austin, Christy re-familiarized herself with the Austin market by working for a local builder, as well as with Curve Realty. "I have found helping individuals buy and sell their homes to be a very rewarding process — the excitement they display is the true reward. In an ever-changing market, I feel responsible to be informed and knowledgeable to be able to serve my clients with the best service. Their needs are always the most important part of the process," says Christy. "I have fallen in love with the city of Austin. The great diversity the city offers is a major reason I choose to call Austin home. Residing in the north central part of the city, I'm close to many of the things Austin has to offer — and I love it. " Christy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas State University. She earned her degree in Athletic Training/ Pre-Physical Therapy.
