1st month's rent =50% of this goes to the listing agent and 50% goes to the tenant's agent. so if a property is 2400 a month the listing agent keep 50% (1200)and the tenants agent will get 50%(1200) . The security deposit equal to one month's rent is given to you. With using an agent, they can advise on Backgrounds of clients, rentals previously held, correspond with other agents about client. Potential tenants will pay for background and credit check. There are a few sites that it can all be done online instantly. Working with all different clients first time renters it is always good they know that a House rental is different than an apartment rental.
