I need recommendations for a real estate attorney that has experience with suing a town home HOA. My neighbor\'s water heater flooded my townhome on 9/27/17. My entire first floor has been gutted, since 10/1/17. My rebuild can not begin until my neighbor removes her portion of the molded rotten sheetrock in the common wall, and she refuses. I took this information to the HOA board members and HOA management company in mid Nov 2017. Wednesday before Thanksgiving 2 board members and a management company rep came and took pictures, but did nothing. They have done nothing to force my neighbor to maintain the common wall appropriately. The mold growth has increased. My homeowner insurance paid for many months of hotel expenses, but that benefit has ended. I started living in my gutted home in April w mold in the sheetrock. I did nothing wrong, and I am suffering at someone else\'s hands. The HOA board members say their lawyer told them they don\'t have to help me.
