Talking Flood,
Even this 2018 we had an eventful 4th of July with another flooding event in Houston. Although minor, it was a reminder that we are still vulnerable. Area leaders said it was a good practice run as we enter hurricane season (June 1st - October 1st) .
Hopefully, we won't need the city and county to demonstrate that readiness and this season will be free from flooding the rest of the season.
It also was a reminder abut the upcoming bond election this August 25th. I wanted to share the proposed project list with you so you can see what projects are planned for each watershed.
