Barbara Debow

Barbara DeBow is an experienced agent with a background in residential real estate, investment properties, and property management. Her skills include clear and concise communication, strong negotiation skills, excellent spatial/design vision, as well as a familiarity with construction and project management. Her love of architecture and design allows her to help her clients envision the potential a property may have and she brings energy and knowledge when working with clients to reach their goals. Whether it is first-time buyers purchasing their dream home, empty nesters looking to downsize, an investor purchasing an investment property, or folks lucky enough to be relocating to Austin, Barbara can offer a full range of services to assist her clients. Barbara began her career in real estate in 2006. Prior to that, she was a licensed cosmetologist and enjoyed 23 years of providing service to her clients. She learned early in her career the value of customer service and listening carefully to what the client’s wants and needs are and those skills translate to assisting her clients with their real estate transactions today. Barbara is very familiar with Austin and the unique personalities of neighborhoods, having lived throughout the city over the years. You can find her on her daily walks around Town Lake (aka Lady Bird Lake for the newcomers!) with her dog Roxanne. She also enjoys the amazing restaurants Austin has to offer, the live music scene, the arts, or simply hanging out on the great lawn at Zilker Park. Austin is a charitable and giving city and Barbara enjoys being a part of such a generous community. Some of her favorite charities to be involved with are SAFE (formerly Safe Place and Austin Children’s Shelter), Habitat for Humanity, Center for Child Protection, Austin Parks Foundation, Central Texas Table of Grace.
