April Landes

Born and raised in East Texas, my husband and 3 kids now call Southwest Arkansas home.  After several years in the Houston market, our family traded the big-city life for our family farm on the banks of the Red River in Lafayette County. It's here I truly understood the heart of my work. Raising three kids has taught me that home isn't always where you're from or where you're going.  Home, is what you make it. It's discovering a space that fits your life, your values, and the people you hold closest. Whether you're welcoming a new baby, adjusting to the beautiful chaos of a growing family, or downsizing after the kids have left the nest, home is where your story unfolds.   As someone navigating those transitions myself, I know what it means to juggle competing priorities while trying to create a home that truly supports your family’s needs. I’ve been in homes that felt too small for growing kids, and I’ve experienced the peace of finding a space that finally fits, a kitchen big enough for pancake breakfasts, a backyard that invites laughter, and quiet corners for those much-needed moments of calm.
