Alex Webb is a realtor who possesses a well-rounded understanding of real estate, including that imparted to him by a Master's Degree in Real Estate from Texas A&M University and his Urban Studies undergraduate degree. He was named "Outstanding Student in Urban Studies" at Trinity University for his work to restart the Urban Studies academic program at the school. He brings his calm, dignified and friendly demeanor, to every transaction. Alex is a great listener and promoter and has an extensive customer service background, beginning with his first job out of college with Harris County, which was to lead a one million-plus square foot move, from seven buildings into two.
Called "unflappable" by his peers at the county, Alex worked long days, nights and weekends to manage a move for hundreds of employees, presenting move planning sessions and handling the needs of more than forty courts and other major county departments. Alex also wrote almost $175 million in grant proposals for Harris County during the economic stimulus of 2009-2010, to create jobs and promote green technology, and worked as a manager in the Real Estate Division of Harris County for many years, handling sales of property, writing policy on appraisal issues and working with the County Planner to amend and vacate plats.
Alex has served in numerous leadership and community service roles that include being named to the board of directors of the Memorial Park Conservancy at age 27, and his being awarded the prestigious "40 Under 40" designation from the Houston Business Journal in 2014. He started the Lighthouse Choir, a choir for the blind and visually impaired, and was responsible for leading a design charrette though Rice University and the University of Houston with over 100 participants to promote his idea for a bridge linking the north and south sides of Memorial Park and to create and choose a design for the bridge.
The 4 million Living Bridge had its ribbon cutting January, 2010. Alex served a two-year term on the board of directors of the Tax Increment Zone 15 (East Downtown), appointed as a city official by Mayor Annise Parker and approved before City Council, to plan and enact improvements to enhance property values in the zone. Alex has also been a guest speaker for the Houston City Hall Fellows and a keynote speaker for the Texas Association of Botanic Gardens and Arborist's Texas convention.
Alex's real estate marketing includes advising clients on make-ready of their homes, use of 3D models to help people envision the space they're buying, extensive and frequent market research that includes calling other listing agents with similar properties to get impressions of the market and to promote the listing, frequent email blitzes and calling their client base to make them aware of his listings. He stays apprised of the latest technology and techniques to sell your home and is known for his creative marketing, including neighborhood preservation walking tours. Alex has called the Museum District home for the last 15 years, has two beloved parrots and frequents Hermann Park and the museums.
Alex's working partner at Keller Williams Metropolitan is Jeff Dunn, a three-decade veteran of real estate brokerage and top producer, and Alex and Jeff are realtors who believe that good, frequent, and consistent communication and feedback to the client is key. They go the extra mile to keep their clients apprised of all showings and market activity. Finally, both Alex and Jeff are skilled in valuation techniques to help you get the best price on your home.
