Alexander Ramos, formally known as Z. K. Alexander Ramos-Phongsavang, brings a refined and intentional approach to real estate advising through Sotheby’s International Realty. As a global real estate advisor, he serves Greater Houston and the Texas Hill Country at Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, as well as Greater Los Angeles at Sotheby’s International Realty’s Beverly Hills brokerage. He focuses on luxury real estate, cross-market relocations between Texas and California, and connecting clients with trusted advisors through Sotheby’s International Realty’s global network, spanning 86 countries.
 
Before transitioning into real estate, Alexander was part of the opening team at The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston, Houston’s only Forbes five-star and AAA five diamond property, where he was trained to the highest global standards of service. He also served as boutique concierge at Tiffany and Co., holding credentials from the Gemological Institute of America, further underscoring his background in luxury service.
 
By the age of 25, Alexander had contributed to nearly 200 real estate transactions and more than $100 million in closed sales across 11 Texas counties, an area more than twice the size of Los Angeles County. His portfolio spans a diverse range of properties, from luxury estates and multi-million-dollar listings to more accessible homes, reflecting comprehensive expertise across all market segments.
 
Throughout his career, he has advised first-time buyers, veterans, investors, entrepreneurs, executives, professional athletes, multiple generations within families, and clients whose real estate decisions are managed through family offices. Originally from Dallas, Alexander moved to Houston to attend the Conrad N. Hilton College at the University of Houston. He remains active as a patron of Memorial Park Conservancy, Asia Society, Preservation Houston, and D’Artagnans. As both an eighth-generation Texan and a first-generation American, he brings a uniquely grounded, forward-thinking perspective to every client relationship.
 
Outside of real estate, Alexander is an avid runner who feels most at home on the trails of Memorial Park Conservancy in Houston and Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles. Having trained in cross country and track since age 12, he applies the same discipline and consistency required in endurance sports to his real estate practice, providing clients with focused, reliable guidance throughout every transaction.
