Dave started investing in properties in 2006. Instead of selling his first home, he rented it to a friend who needed a place for his family to live. Then, guided by his local Realtor, he began looking for, analyzing, and buying properties -- rentals, flips, BRRRR, yield plays, if the numbers made sense, he pursued it. Today, he owns a number of rental properties and is always eager to share the value of owning such an asset. He was Chair of the HAR Governmental Advisory Group for 2016 and 2017, and served as a Region 14 Trustee for the Texas Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (TREPAC) from 2016 to 2019. Ray was on the Executive Board of Texas REALTORS® from 2018 to 2019, and was Chair of the Texas REALTORS® YPN Group in 2020.
