I have been an active Developer & Builder in Crystal Beach since 2009 and have built well over 60+ homes on the peninsula. In October 2018 I was awarded Sales of the Month for my Broker Firm. My hobbies include my children & grandchildren, soccer, baseball, fishing & hunting. I also enjoy riding my Harley on weekends and I have also participated in over 9 5K runs this year. As a Contractor of Landscaping and Irrigation for over 40+ years, I also was a contractor for swimming pools and builders for over 20 years as well. This has given me the knowledge of all aspects of the building industry and ability to answer any questions a client may have without having to use the common response "I will have to get back to you on that," since I have the knowledge base on all levels of building. I have always had a deep interest in the real estate industry and always wanted to be a Realtor throughout life. Now my dreams have begun to also start helping my clients start their dreams with a home they desire.

I moved to Bolivar Peninsula in 1961, when I graduated from high island high school. I began my career in real estate in 1985 and purchased Swede’s Real Estate in 1995. Being a lifelong resident of the Bolivar Peninsula, I have distinguished myself as a leader in real estate and community development. I am a member of the Galvestion Association of Realtors, and in 2009, was honored by the National Association Realtors with the Resort and Second Home Property Division Distinguished Service Award. As an involved member of the community, I am a graduate of the 1999 Leadership Southeast Texas and now serve as a member of the Galveston County Beach Erosion Taskforce. I love my community and stay involved. I am currently the President of Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce-1st vice president Bolivar Peninsula Lighthouse krewe- board member arbortorium nursing home Winnie Texas- graduate leadership southeast Texas 1999-board member partnership of Southeast Texas 1999- memberof Galveston county Erosion Task Force- recipient of Business Leadership Award from the star day foundation-citizen of the year award from Bolivar Peninsula 1992-and Swede’s Real Estate Business of the Year in 1999. My spare time is spent giving back to the community that I feel is the greatest place in the state of Texas.
