My introduction into real estate came about through a love of working with people and because of my organizational skills and efficiency. I managed a local real estate office for over a year and from the encouragement of brokers and agents decided to go in to full time real estate sales.

I love this business! What drives me each day is the opportunity to help someone. As the Broker/Owner of Emblem Properties, I am able to continue to help clients whether they are selling or buying real estate and work with our team of agents as they serve even more clients. White Ivy Real Estate is a residential property management brokerage. We offer leasing and management services for investors that own single-family and small multi-family properties in the following counties: Walker, Trinity, San Jacinto, Polk, Tyler, and Angelina.

Keith graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He has spent over 8 years in the environmental side of the oil and gas industry, developing and maintaining over 1000 key accounts and customers for one of the largest re-refining companies of distressed hydrocarbons in the United States. During this time, he has developed skills in customer service and contract-pricing negotiations. Keith is a huge proponent of technology and making it work for you. All these skills make him an excellent choice as your real estate agent.

MICHELLE WHITECOTTON re-joined Markham Realty as a licensed REALTOR in October 2016. She worked for Markham Realty, as Office Manager, from 1992-1996 while attending Sam Houston State University. She and her husband Tim Whitecotton, Captain at the Walker County Sheriff's Department, have two grown children. Michelle has many years of experience working in Walker County including 15 years at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Michelle is the current President of The Tall Pines Association of REALTORS. Her designations include TRLP (Texas REALTORS Leadership Program), RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert), and Social Media Pro. She also has been involved in the rodeo industry for over 30 years. She is deeply rooted in Walker and surrounding counties and her knowledge of the area gives her the ability to find the perfect place for her clients. Her personality and passion for the real estate industry shines brightest when she interacts with clients to help make their real estate dreams come true. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, helping the future generations of young people in the rodeo industry, and facilitating real estate transactions with customers that depend on her. Michelle's past real estate experience and love for people give her confidence to meet the needs of all her clients.

Althea has had an active brokers license for thirty eight years. Althea is a member of National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and Houston Association of Realtors. One can feel comfortable in asking Althea any question about the real estate industry, including how to begin the purchase process even before one thinks he is able.
