Jacalyn "Jacki" Henthorne has been a licensed real estate agent since 1998, growing her business steadily through referral and repeat business which has reached a phenomenal 95% of her client base. Jacki's strong desire to meet or exceed client expectation is the driving force behind her success. As one of Houston's top-producing real estate professionals, she has accrued a number of top awards based on her production. Yet she is most proud of earning HAR's Five Star Professional, an award based on client satisfaction. "Only one percent of agents qualify for it," Jacki states proudly. "The award essentially comes from the client and my colleagues that means everything to me."

Jacki believes it's important to be genuine. "It's not about me; I keep the client as my number-one priority and hold them in the highest regard. As I guide my clients through the transaction process, I work hard to make it as smooth and challenge-free as possible. I am firm, and can be direct when necessary, but I always act in a diplomatic manner."

A native of Rapid City, South Dakota, Jacki came to Houston after living in Missouri and northern California. She brings a strong, 30-year-plus background in sales, finance and management to her career in real estate. "I spent 11 years in the RV industry where I rose to be general sales manager and finance director," Jacki says. "Moving into residential real estate sales was a natural transition for me."

Holding positions in a corporate relocation office as Asset Manager, Relocation Inventory Specialist and Relocation Coordinator has provided her a unique inside level of experience that most agents don't have insight to. "That opportunity greatly strengthened my skills and laid the foundation for the success I have reached in my relocation and referral business," Jacki commented. Additionally, she held an assistant vice president position for a large brokerage in The Woodlands where she recruited, trained and led more than 90 agents, many of whom have gone on to be top producers.

Community involvement is equally important to Jacki. When not working, she enjoys golfing and participates in tournaments for fun or in those that benefit local charitable fundraising initiatives. She actively supports St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital Fundraising and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

"My mother has been the greatest influence in my life," Jacki says. "She raised four children single handedly and instilled a solid work ethic in me. She taught me to be true to myself and to always be honest. I believe that my clients trust me with one of their most important financial decisions because they can rely on me throughout the process."

Waller resident for 15 years, married to Glenn Smith, the current Waller County Sheriff. We have one daughter attending Texas A&M pursuing a double major in animal science and business, a married son living in Hutto, Texas. I grew up in Silsbee & Honey Island area while attending and graduating from Silsbee High School. I have lived all over Southeast Texas & East Texas including Toledo Bend Lakes area, as well as California. I have my Insurance License, Finance License and Realtor License.
