The office staff is very nice. Apartments are you get what you pay for. I have no problem with roaches but my God does the ac suck here. My AC is constantly running. I put it at 75 the temp will read 76 and keep it on, etc. During the day our apartment stays over 80 until about 11 at night. It's ridiculous and maintenance just comes to change filter. I was told it's because I'm in an upstairs apartment but never had this problem before. We're looking at $500 electric bill every month because of this.

Lived here for 3 years and it just got progressively worse. From roaches to bedbugs and maintenence not fixing anything (at least not finishing) and coming in unannounced (stupid thing to do in general) to the property manager being entitled, rude, and unprofessional, this place should get no stars. I would have to say the only positive experience I've had here was regarding dealing with literally any other office staff member. If you see the prices they advertise and think it's too good to be true, I promise you it is. Literally avoid anything on Northwood.

Moving here is calm... but I hate the fact that I have noisy neighbors playing loud music in the middle of the night and having to deal with roaches in the other hand too, maintenance was suppose to be in our apartment to deal with this problem but I guess it's too much for them if I have to bug these people to do their job I won't be nice about it due to the fact that I have a child here too. if you want anything fix as soon as possible its best to keep bugging them over and over again, they took 6 months to fix the hot water for our washer and the water gets turned off without even giving a notice…these apartments are a joke

Do not move here!!! It is the worst place on earth to live. The apartments are infested with roaches. The water temperature changes as it pleases and gets turned off without warning. Once they turned off the water and when I asked the office when it would be back on, she said in no more than 2 hours. That was at 3:30 pm. At 10:30 that night the water was still not on. The lady named Tonya will never look you in the eyes when she is talking to you. They charge you for every single thing you need, like visitor passes. Visitor passes expire every 3 months by the way, so you always have to get new ones. There is also never enough visitor spaces and they don't care. If you get a visitor space be thankful otherwise they don't care if you have no place to park. They will tow your car when they don't have a contract or permission to. Office does nothing about it when we told them. Maintenance came to fix the fridge and left it worse than before. They also tracked mud through the apartment and used our mop to clean it rather than using their own. They charge you for a gate key which is $25 and which never worked. Then 2 days later the gate breaks again and now you're out $25 for the key you just got 2 days before. They also keep saying they are going to get the gate fixed so it's more "secure" but they've been saying that for months and nothing happens. They are a very shady business that only accepts money orders. Parking lot and roads are in horrible condition. The pool is absolutely nasty. More than half the time its sea algea green and I'm convinced they "clean it" by dumping blue food coloring in it because the very next day its green again. Police are frequently there for who knows what. We are moving before our lease is up and they charge an ungodly amount to break the lease and they make you give them a 30 day notice so they can make another month's rent off of you. If you don't give them 30 days notice they destroy your credit history. This is the worst place I have ever encountered I hate it with a passion. Move somewhere else people. It's not worth it. If I could give negative stars I would.

This place is pathetic!!! I reported to them that one of my patio doors wouldn't lock, and was told to put a stick on the door track. Restroom and ceiling full of MOLD and mildew. The apt. manager chargered me a 50.00 cleaning fee because my bath tub was dirty. I cleaned that bath tub 2 days prior to moving out. I sucked it up for a year there, just so not to break my lease. Since moving there, I had gone through three manager's , and all rude as hell. Owners really need to go check that property, nothing works and filthy as hell. Very unprofessional staff. They'll try to get your money any way they can.
