Silvia is a U.S Navy veteran where she served as a Hospital Corpsman for 5 years and learned the skills of leadership, teamwork, and diligence. She comes from a background of 25 years in healthcare and applies her active listening, problem-solving and negotiating skills when working with her real estate clients. Born in Michigan, Lisa Smith moved to Florida, Kentucky, and back to Michigan before calling Texas home. She has now proudly lived most of her life in the Lone Star State. Well-equipped to handle the shape-shifting real estate market, Lisa brings extensive organizational experience from her time as an executive assistant at a multinational oil and gas company. Lisa says, "There is no one formula for working with people. You must stay adaptable and be able to see things from varying points of view. As passionate about giving back to her community as she is about helping clients, Lisa is a longtime Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo volunteer. She has recently completed her appointment as a committee Vice Chairman, and currently serves as a Lifetime Committeeman. Lisa says, "In my twenty years of volunteering with the HLS&R's Directions and Assistance Committee, I have created lifelong friendships and have great satisfaction knowing I have helped reunite hundreds of lost children with their parents at the rodeo."
