Steve's passion is Pet Rescue & Adoptions. He co-sponsor a monthly "Meet & Greet" at his property on Heights Blvd to facilitate the adoption of homeless dogs & cats. "I've been able to participate in the adoption of thousands (45,000 over the past four years) of homeless pets through the good work of my neighbors and colleagues. Join us for the "Meet and Greet" on the first Saturday of each month in the 1100 block of Heights Blvd. You, too, can participate in the saving of these lives. Steve likes to spend his downtime with his family, usually outside, including jogging, biking near the Bayou, or watching the pelicans on his back porch in Galveston. He has two beautiful grandchildren.
