After growing up in the Clear Lake/Friendswood area, Erin moved inside the 610 Loop to attend law school at the University of Houston, and has lived in several Inner Loop neighborhoods for more than 25 years. From both her personal and professional experience, Erin is familiar with many of the city's neighborhoods.

As a broker for the buyer, activity consists of providing knowledgeable assistance to the client regarding the property selection and viewing, contract preparation and negotiation, loan, inspections and renegotiation, insurance, and closing. As a broker for the seller, activity consists of market analysis, listing contract, creation of brochures and photos/videos, listing the property on MLS and websites, showing and coordinating of showings, open houses, contract negotiation.
There will be no pressure on a buyer/client to act quickly or rush to a conclusion. My priority is what is best for the client, not the broker. I will not, nor will any Helton & Megarity agents receive inducements, fees, or kickbacks from any non-Realtor participants involved in a clients transaction (ex. loan officers, inspectors, insurance agents, surveyors, etc.). A client will never be turned over to an assistant, and I will remain available after the transaction is completed. Staying up-to-date on real estate trends, economic projections, current interest rate climate, comparable sales, new construction, and technology, is an essential part of my business. I have a stable history of full time, business owner-broker service since 1979. Not one client has ever filed a complaint with any real estate association, or governing body. I have been a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, MLS, and the Texas Association of Realtors since 1978. Education is B.S. in Economics and Finance, The University of Houston Main Campus. Prior to my real estate business career, for 7 years, I was a common stock securities analyst and retirement plans portfolio manager for a major bank.
