I am a lawyer and my wife and I have lived at 2016 Main continuously since 1986! The views of downtown (north) or the south are excellent and unobstructed unlike other downtown high rises. We have a beautiful NEW pool almost ready for use, new pool deck with amenities and new elevators being installed. Moderately priced units. The building is rock solid with only 2 times having the electricity go out (4 hours after a flood in 2024 and after Alicia in 2001). Conveniently located a block from...

Conveniently located a block from MetroRail which I ride each week to the courthouse for 65c. Walking distance to Randalls (2 blocks) and several blocks from all the action in Midtown. Under excellent management (First Service) HOA fees are comparable to other high rises of similar age. Very secure building. I would definitely recommend 2016 Main as a place to live.
In almost 60 years of marriage, 2016 Main Street in Houston’s Midtown has been the most fun and exciting place we have lived. For the last 10 years we have discovered the joy of the alternate transportation of the trains, buses, and our bikes. We have seen major improvements in the dedicated bike trails that go to the Heights, West University, the Museums, and all along the beautiful bayou out to loop 610.

This place sucks. It has one of the highest HOA fees in Houston. Yet trash is all over the parking garage. Trash cans are overflowing. The stairwells are full of trash and never cleaned. The fire doors are blocked all the time. Oakleaf Management is
