Licensed Real Estate Agent Millard (Spur) Wood moved to Houston at the young age of 17 from his small hometown of El Campo, Texas, leaving behind his family's Masonry business to pursue a career in real estate. Spur has worked for a top producing broker at Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty as a licensed assistant for 4 years and has a reputation in the industry for consistent satisfaction, disciplined work ethic and an undeniably engaging personality. Spur has extensive knowledge in the Houston real estate market and has been busy assisting his agent and clients with listing and selling properties in the Memorial Villages, Close-in Memorial, River Oaks, Royden Oaks, Afton Oaks, Tanglewood, Briargrove, Bellaire, Heights, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest, Shepherd Park, Braes Heights, South Hampton, West University and the Museum District areas. Over the last 4 years as a licensed assistant, Spur has helped prepare offers for buyers and sellers, negotiate terms, attend all inspections and appointments, attend closings, handle the contract process from offer to closing, perform daily home searches for buyers and ensures he is up-to-date with up and coming neighborhoods and market trends. He has been a resident of Inwood Forrest community for 8 years and also created the community's Facebook page which now has over 400 members! Minnie Criado distinguished herself as the first Hispanic licensed Escrow Officer, in the city of Houston in 1971 and in 1972 became one of the first Title Company Branch Managers.Her southwest located offices, served Harris and Fort Bend Counties. In 1986, she founded R.E.A.L. (Real Estate Association Latinos) , an organization for professionals of all real estate related services. In 1992, she opened the first woman operated title company fee office in Houston. The fee office, located on San Felipe, was owned by her husband, Atty. and Law Professor Tony Criado in affiliation with Regency Title Co until his death in 1997. In 2001, she brought all her years of experience, to the commercial and residential real estate industry. Minnie is a University of Texas alumna.
