I am a firm believer that having a vision for your life and continually working towards self-improvement are vital keys to success. As an Army veteran and actor (starring in the 2008 movie Garrison as well as numerous commercials), my experience has taught me the importance of having vision. It's what helped launch me into my acting career. But it was my constant need to push myself, to improve myself, to do something more that led me to a highly successful real estate career. I started in real estate in 2000, investing in properties and working with 3 different home builders (2 of which have ranked in the top 10 homebuilders in the country for over 10 years). Wanting to do more than just invest, I obtained by realtors license in 2004 and worked for major companies such as GMAC Real Estate, REMAX, and Keller Williams. Not content with just sticking with the status quo, I obtained a broker license in 2009, starting my own brokerage in 2012. Starting a brokerage is no small feat. To make sure I lived up to my potential, I was coached by 2 of the top real estate coaches in the world—Jay Kinder (Coldwell Banker's #2 realtor in the world) and Michael Reese (creator of the National Association of Expert Advisors/NAEA). This led to me becoming a certified home buying and selling advisor with the NAEA. I've received so much amazing help from trade experts and I'm aware of how much it has helped me grow to success. In turn, I've now partnered and collaborate with Jay Kinder to help other agents grow successful businesses and teams with eXp Realty. Along with my real estate business, I'm also a fitness instructor for Lifetime Athletic Club. I firmly believe that fitness has had a huge impact on my physical and mental well-being, helping me to excel in the real estate business. Raised in Pensacola, Florida, by a home builder father, real estate has always been an important part of Keith's life. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Houston's Hilton School of Hotel & Restaurant Management. After college, Keith entered the property and facilities management field, first at a global real estate investment trust and later for an international chemical company that occupied over 20 floors in a downtown Houston skyscraper.

Today, as a co-founder of The Brown Group at Compass alongside his wife Katherine, Keith excels at negotiations and developing systematic processes for reaching his clients' goals. Keith and Katherine make their home in a Historic Houston Heights bungalow and spend their free time with their two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels at their 100-year-old farmhouse in Round Top.

To treat human beings the same way I would like to be treated is my general philosophy in life. I enjoy working with people and is my pleasure to represent sellers and buyers in their real estate needs. I was born in Puerto Rico and came to Texas in 1982. For many years I worked for financial institutions which I also enjoyed very much. The Real Estate industry was and is one business field that fascinates me; enough motivation to change my professional career.

I have earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Houston, I have also earned the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation and continously updating my skills and knowledge in the Real Estate Industry.

Living and working in Texas has given me the oportunity to work with a very much diversified population. It is very interesting to learn about different cultures and people's values; this has helped me to develop the necessary skills to reach more sellers and buyers.

The "green realtor" is what I call myself since I use every oportunity I get to promote energy conservation and recycling. It will be nice to have the state and local governments not only promote, enforce and teach us about it but also to create and facilitate ways for people to participate.
