First home purchase is likely to be the biggest investment in your life. It would be an overwhelming experience to step up further in life. Every step should be taken cautiously, remember some useful points such as the recent home prices in your area, calculate your budget, check out your locality and try to use services of reputable and trustworthy real estate brokers. Brokers like http://www.albanesebuilders.com/projects-for-sale.php , who have great reputation in the market can help you better in first time home purchase.

You have heard most folks say location, location, location.....but really everything starts with budget. Your first stop should be with a knowledgeable mortgage professional that will take a look at your credit, income, and debts to come up with a budget to help you uate how much money you would like to spend on your new home. Once you know how much money you have to work with, your real estate professional can assist you in finding the best property to suit your needs that fits in your wallet.

The first step in the process would be to hire a REALTOR to represent you and to guide and hold your hand throughout the entire process. If you have not received a pre-approval letter from a lender of your choice, then usually a REALTOR has a list of lenders that they can provide to you. It is critical that you are educated on the homebuyer process and your options out there. There are so many programs and grant money that is available if you qualify for them. Hope that help! :-)

One of the best things you can do as a new buyer is to go to a reputable lender and go through the qualification process. They will tell you what the best way to finance your home. Congrats, and Best of luck.

I waited a few days to see if you would provide a little more info. There are so many options when buying a house. Please give some details so that your question gets answered correctly.

First of, tell me where you are looking to buy, then what is your budget, also let me know what kind of house you are wanting to buy, and let me know your qualifications. Your profession will be a good factor in determining what you can buy as a result. For those in the miltiary service, or police authority or fire volunteers , or teachers, there are a lot of options for you. Get in touch with me and I will do my best to help you.

It depends on the area you plan to purchase in. Here in TX, we have VA, FHA (203K, 203B & others Cash and Conventional) USDA(depending on area) , Do u need to sell before purchasing and are you pre approved... that's a necessity, . What area do you have your eye on? Louise Lee Sloan, Lone Star CRS

Congratulations on taking steps to become a homeowner!

First steps are to select a Realtor and a lender. This can be done almost simultaneously. Realtors can provide you with their short list of stellar mortgage lenders and, vice-versa, lenders know stellar Realtors.

Next have a family meeting and decide on a timeframe for completing the house hunting and closing process. On what date do you ultimately want to move into your new home? Establishing a deadline is critical to success and staying on target.

Next discuss with your family your wish list for what you require in your new home. In a perfect world what would you need and what would you want in a home. This includes location, schools, amenities; as well as must-haves that are non-negotiable items and the nice to have things on your wish list. There is no such thing as a perfect house; but, with a clearly defined list of criteria and requirements your Realtor can work to get as many items on your list as possible.

Selection of Realtor and Lender, plus clear timeframe, plus long wish-list. Now you are ready to get to work on the wonderful journey toward home ownership! <3 It is truly a journey, one you will always remember!

Hope this helps!
I wish you much success!

You should definitely get together with an experienced Realtor who can better access your situation, or go directly to a loan officer and apply for a preapproval.
