I've lived in the Houston area for over 20 years! I've seen it grow and change, and I have a great appreciation for all this city has to offer!

I am familiar with many of the communities and neighborhoods in Houston, and I am constantly learning, growing and studying as communities change and new ones develop.

I am delighted to share with you, what I love. Real Estate is my life, my ideal career. When my family and I made the decision to move to San Antonio, Texas, I already had a professional career as a REALTOR�. I knew this career is my past, present and future, for which I did everything possible to become a Realtor� in Texas. This beautiful city has impressed me by the way Texans build business in a positive, organize and prosperous way.

Before become a REALTOR�, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master%u219s Degree in Human Resources. I worked as a Director in different public companies. However, I started in Real Estate officially in 2010, despite having my license many years before. I started in the sale of residential resale properties and rentals. At the same time, I was the Director of an Institute of Real Estate in Puerto Rico, a position I held for 5 years. I worked as a volunteer in a number of committees of the Association of REALTORS� of Puerto Rico. One of my achievements was to be awarded by the Association of Realtors of Puerto Rico, as "The Youngest Realtor of the Year%u21D, 2014.

As you can see, I love Real Estate and it is something that is in my blood, because different people in my family have Real Estate Companies. I like to contribute to the families in the sale and rent of the most important asset, that is a property.

For me, the service to the clients is priority and essential. I am sure I will give you the best professional and enthusiastic service.

Cuando tomamos la decision mi familia y yo, de mudarnos a San Antonio, Texas, ya ten%uFFDa una carrera profesional como Realtor. Sabia que era mi presente y futuro, por lo cual hice todo lo posible para convertirme en Realtor en Texas. Antes de ser Realtor, complete mi Bachillerato en Artes de la Educacion y mi Maestria en Recursos Humanos. Trabaje como Directora en diferentes companias publicas. Sin embargo, comence en Bienes Raices oficialmente en 2010, a pesar de tener mi licencia muchos a�os antes. Comence en la venta de propiedades de re-venta, alquileres y a la misma vez dirigia un Instituto de Bienes Raices en Puerto Rico por 5 a%uFFDos. Trabaje como voluntaria en varios comites de la Asociacion de Realtors de Puerto Rico. Uno de los logros que obtuve fue ser galardonada por la Asociacion de Realtors de Puerto Rico, como La Joven del A%uFFDo Realtor 2014 Como vez, bienes raices me apasiona y es algo que llevo en la sangre ya que varias personas en mi familia tienen companias de Bienes Raices. Me gusta contribuir a las familias en la venta y alquiler de su mejor activo que es una propiedad.

My name is Chanda. Not many can pronounce my first name - so I have been known to use my middle name, Leigh, in my professional life as well. So, please, call me what you like...heck - you can call me Al if you prefer!

I have been emersed in all things Real Estate as long as I can remember. I was a Mortgage Broker for 10+ years (I owned Kingwood Mortgage for at least 5 of those years) and then the market took the big dive and I decided to take a job in Corporate America for the stability and insurance. I spent 5 years as a Risk Analyst for a Real Estate Investment Trust and earned my chops handling large property insurance claims for my employer (Weingarten Realty - who owned large grocery store anchored strip centers along the US coast) after Hurricane Ike.

I got my Real Estate License in October of 2010 - thinking that I would make use of it handling real estate transactions for just my friends and family - then secured my Certified Risk Management designation with the intention of moving up the ladder at Weingarten. At the end of year 5, it became clear that my chances of moving up depended on my Risk Director taking a job elsewhere (no chance of that I discovered) and I took a position as the Contract Risk Manager with a Oil & Gas Services Company. Once hired, they quickly discovered that I had corporate insurance and real estate experience...and handed all of the above to me. I became the Global Risk & Real Estate Manager for TAM International, Inc. and handled ALL contract negotiations globally, ALL global insurance placements, and developed industrial real estate for the company around the world...keeping my Texas Real Estate License in play the entire time. Texas Real Estate was simply a side-hustle...and I did A LOT OF IT in the 7 years I was with TAM. So much so that I was able to leave the grind to do this full-time at the end of 2019...and I am FINALLY exactly where I belong.
