Since Betty and Peg had worked together in real estate in Houston and remained friends all those years it was natural that the two friends joined together to become "YOUR HOME TEAM' and together have become a country force – listing and selling real estate in a 5 – county area (Austin, Colorado, Fayette, Lee, and Washington Counties). They have never lost sight of the real joys of real estate which is helping others. Together they have found a true niche educating their clientele in the uniqueness of Farm and Ranch and Historical Properties. They specialize in Farm and Ranch, Country Properties, and Property & Home Staging. No two properties are alike which makes selling in the country both fun and challenging at the same time.
Born and raised in Washington County, I bring a unique and powerful insight into the local real estate market and all this great county has to offer. I am a graduate of Brenham High School and currently attending Texas A&M to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Ag Leadership and Development. Being native to Brenham, and growing up in the industry of farm and ranch, I want you to have a little taste of Texas too! As an agent, I am passionate for real estate and am looking forward to guiding you through the process of buying or selling. It is my pleasure to help you through the process of turning your real estate dreams into reality. Call me today and let's talk about your future plans.

In her early 20s, Karla moved to Houston to work as a model for Neiman Marcus. She soon transitioned into investment banking, taking an entry-level position with Schneider Bernet and Hickman, an investment banking firm based in Dallas. By age 22, she had earned her license to trade securities and moved to Shearson Lehman Brothers where she traded interest-rate futures for regional Texas banks. She worked as an investment banker for 10 years and finished her career at Smith Barney. Along the way, Karla married and raised two sons and a daughter, bought a small farm in Austin County and ran a horse-breeding operation, and threw herself into hosting large political fund-raisers.
Seeking to combine her financial acumen and love for architecture and houses, Karla obtained her Texas real estate license in 2013. She represents buyers and sellers of all ages and price ranges throughout Houston to sell and purchase historical properties, Gulf Coast condominiums and homes, country ranches, and city properties.
For many years, Karla was a dedicated and influential volunteer, devoting considerable time and resources to supporting Special Olympics athletes and coaches as well as Triumph Over Kids Cancer (TOKC). As a Realtor, her schedule is a busy one but, whenever she can, Karla heads for the farm or the Texas coast to fish and kayak.
Never allow good enough to become good enough. Roman L. Moore III was born and raised in Somerville, Texas into a family of four which includes one sister. After graduating from Texas A&M, he went on to obtain several graduate degrees and enter into a career in politics and state government leadership which included serving as Senior Advisor to the Illinois Governor as well as Chief of Staff and Deputy Director of state agencies. Roman's 20-year career in politics allowed him to live and work in several states across the country. After his return to Texas, Roman entered the field of Project Management managing construction, mechanical and maintenance projects through his company's contract with the Texas A&M University System. Understanding the need and value of ownership in property, Roman decided to commit his life's work to bringing that pride and value to the everyday Texan. In an effort to give back to his community, Roman launched the Matthew Gains Generational Wealth Initiative with the goal of establishing generational wealth among the state's underrepresented populations through the ownership of 2 to 3 acres of land. Matthew Gaines was a freed slave turned Texas State Republican Senator representing Washington County during Reconstruction. Senator Gaines is credited with playing a key role in the establishment of Texas A&M University. Roman hopes to honor his great grandfather's legacy by continuing his effort to shape the landscape of Texas for the benefit of every resident. Coldwell Banker understands the need, value and pride property brings to families in addition to the importance of the Matthew Gaines Initiative inspiring Roman to become a member of their family.
Shelly Moschak, a native Houstonian, escaped the traffic and city life and moved to the more relaxed lifestyle of the Brenham countryside in 2003. She has enjoyed her real estate career ever since, and enjoyed being the Broker/Owner of 5 Star Country Properties for 10 years. In 2017 she partnered with Legend Texas Properties, where she enjoys the collaboration of other talented professionals who share her business practices and integrity.
Shelly's down-to-earth, positive attitude and tremendous sense of humor are reasons she builds strong relationships with her clients. She focuses first on really getting to know her clients, discovering their needs and desires, then resolves to find a solution fitting for each person.
Shelly had experienced "Corporate America" and "glass ceilings", so she made the transition into real estate for a simple reason: "I wanted to build a career around my life, not a life around my career." She insists life is too short not to keep your priorities in order God First, Family Second, & Career Third! Tenacious and reliable, she insists on doing things the right way the first time and her integrity is unparalleled. Dedicated to professional, courteous service, Shelly only wants what's best for her clients. She is determined to see the transaction through after helping her clients explore all of their options. She believes that people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care and that everyone will remember how you made them feel.
Shelly has served in numerous positions with her local S. Central Board of Realtors, and with Texas Association of Realtors over the years and believes it is important to stay involved in serving others in our industry, and in supporting property ownership in Texas.
