My roots begin here in Brenham, Texas (Home of Blue Bell Ice Cream). Growing up on our family ranch, I have experienced and learned many valuable things about living in the country. I assist buyers trying to find the “right” property and sellers market their property efficiently by using the latest technology. By having a degree in IT-Design & Development, I create custom aerial maps and renderings. This is very valuable tool for land planning and when searching for the right characteristics in a property such as: Shape/layout, road frontage, topography/terrain, and vegetation. Jo Ann Holba admits, “I love Bellville and Austin County as much today as the first day I moved here in 1974.” It’s no wonder she has grown to become a multi-million dollar producer: she can’t resist showing off the rolling hills, spring wildflowers, and small town charm that she loves so much. Jo Ann’s love for real estate started well before moving into the country. While a youngster, she would read the real estate section of the newspaper daily. And in 1982, she made her passion into a career, earning a real estate license that would be followed with a Broker’s license. Jo Ann also achieved the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant Advanced(ALC) designation with NAR Realtor’s Land Institute (RLI) . Jo Ann has been married to Gary Holba for over 4 decades, a local native of Austin County and licensed Realtor, who also assists Jo Ann full-time and are the proud parents of one grown son, Stacey, a graduate of Southwest Texas State University who resides in Austin.

Melanie Holton is the Broker-Owner of CENTURY 21 Holton Realty. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston in 1994. She worked as a paralegal at one of the top international law firms in downtown Houston for 10 years before obtaining her real estate sales associate license in 2004. In 2004, she joined an independent real estate company where she remained the top producer for several years. She furthered her education by securing her broker license in 2011 so that she could focus her attention on operating a real estate company and a property management company. In 2012, she purchased the independent real estate company and made it her own by moving the office to a supreme location, implementing progress, and setting the stage for further improvements. In October 2014, she became an affiliate of the CENTURY 21® System and is proud to call her company CENTURY 21 Holton Realty. She strives to be the best in the industry and works hard every day to further her education and experience. She is dedicated to giving her clients the highest level of service in achieving their real estate goals. She is a wife, mother of four, member of First Baptist Church-Brenham, former Secretary of the Krause Elementary School PTO for 9 years, broker-owner of We Manage Properties, previous Vice President of the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce and a successful real estate broker.
