The characteristics that we find appealing in a friendship are the same qualities that we look for when we place on of life's most important decisions, buying or selling a home, into someone else's hands. We want a person who is trustworthy, dependable and honest as well as empathetic to our needs. Jerrilyn Garrison is that kind of person. She was born in West Texas but found herself moving around quite a bit in college years. After obtaining a degree in psychology she decided to use it and work with at risk teenage girls in Louisville, Kentucky. When Jerrilyn returned to Midland she worked as a contract manager for a local oil & gas company and became proficient in the often tedious but important aspects of doing contracts properly. As in often the case everything we do in life has some significance. Moving around taught Jerrilyn how to weather new situations and gave her insight into how to advise her clients who are moving into a new home, a new neighborhood or a new city reminding them that it is an exciting time. Her degree in psychology has been beneficial in helping her to understand people and to be able to counsel them or as she so aptly stated "hold their hands and take care of them".
