Kara is a 4th generation Texan and proud to be a Realtor with her family business, Lane Real Estate, teaming up with both her parents who are also both Brokers, Betty and Rocky Lane. Kara grew up right outside of Houston in Rosenberg and graduated from Terry Highschool and Texas A&M University with a BS in Psychology. She worked for a Galleria/Inner Loop title company as a Marketing Manager for 3 years and later switched to the other side of real estate in 2002 as a Realtor. She enjoyed a successful and fulfilling real estate career for years thanks to her repeat clients, referrals, friends and family prior to her husband's job transfer overseas that kept their family on the move for 13 years before returning back home to Houston. Kara has lived and/or worked inside the loop, Bellaire, Galleria, The Heights, Memorial, Rice Military, Sugar Land, Katy, Rosenberg/Richmond, Cypress and Spring and of course has family and friends scattered all over Houston giving her vast experience and knowledge of the different areas of this great city of Houston. Kara is a go-getter with a passion for matching her clients to the right home and neighborhood. She feels it is an honor to guide her clients as they make significant real estate decisions no matter what phase of life they are in. She is also a member of The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and is currently serving on both The Agriculture Education Committee and The Gatekeepers Committee. She loves to travel, play tennis, work with charity organizations and watch her kids play sports. She most enjoys spending time with her husband Justin and their two children, Reid and Kate and their bernedoodle Bear.

She moved to Quail Valley with her family at the age of five, and later settled in Sugar Land, where she attended and graduated from Clements High School in 1989. Today, Stephanie continues to reside in Sugar Land, maintaining strong ties to the community that she holds dear.

Stephanie pursued her higher education at the University of North Texas in Denton, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management. After college, she embarked on a career that initially led her to banking and later to Continental Airlines. However, Stephanie's desire to merge her financial services background with her passion for customer service ultimately led her to real estate.
