I am a native Texan, originally from Austin and have been in Houston since 1995. My background prior to Real Estate was in the Homebuilding industry for 11 years, where I was a Closing Coordinator. I represented the builder and managed the closing process from contract to close. Most recently, I was an Analyst in the Oil and Gas Industry. I am devoted to God and my family. I have been married to my husband and best friend, Adam for 14 years. I am also a proud mother of 2 children, Tyler and Lindsey. I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family and living life to the fullest. I epitomizes integrity, dedication, energy and hard work in every sense of the real estate transaction. Prior to pursuing a career in real estate, Sterling first attended Dallas Baptist University where he played ice hockey & ran track. He then transferred to Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness, while also officiating junior & collegiate ice hockey on the side & coaching hockey camps over the summer. He also grew his business Sterling Knife Sharpening and built its reputation as one that provides top-notch quality service to its clients, which he still operates today.







In addition to that, he was invited to the NHL's Officiating Combine in 2017, and has officiated various levels of ice hockey including junior, collegiate, and pro.







The skills he has gained from playing, officiating, & coaching ice hockey as well as operating a service based business have translated seamlessly to his real estate career. His ability to navigate difficult situations, work well with others, make sound decisions, have patience, as well as his drive to provide a high level of service have been staples for what he provides in the real estate world. He is focused on putting each of his clients in a winning situation.







Sterling also has a tremendous passion for the outdoors & still coaches & officiates hockey to this day. When he isn't working with clients, you can usually find him at hunting & fishing with friends or at the hockey rink, or just merely being outdoors.

I have been a Computer Programmer/Analyst pretty much most of my Career, but I have always and I say ALWAYS have loved Real Estate. In 2005 I was presented with an opportunity to go into Real Estate and It was a struggle. Back in 2007 the market took a crash, but I still made it thru. As a daughter in a Naval family that moved many times, Colleen Hawkins can totally relate to families and individuals relocating from other locales, whether from coast to coast, state to state, city to city, or just across town. In fact, Colleen has lived in California, Florida, Hawaii, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and now Texas (where her most recent move was one of only about 22 miles, from Katy to Cypress). Added to that, Colleen and her husband have renovated every home that they have lived in, learning much about construction. Before beginning her career in real estate in 2014, Colleen was a Manager and Program Developer for hospital-based wellness centers for 30 years, focused on providing great customer service. In the process, she developed good communication and time management skills and has considerable experience working with the public and other professionals. As a result, she is very confident.

With a BS in Social Work and an MS in Exercise Physiology, Colleen and husband, Jim, have been married since 1977. They have two married children and four grandchildren.
