Hi all! My husband and I moved to Houston in 1996 with a newborn baby! We grew up in Virginia and have also lived in Tennessee, Florida and California. I graduated college with a bachelors degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice with plans to go to law school. Well, plans changed as I got married and moved around the country with my husbands career. During this time, I worked as a paralegal and later in sales as a major account manager where I was top rated in sales in the TX area. Following that, I spent some time at home raising my daughters for a few years (they are now nineteen and twenty-four). Lets just say, time flies.

Prior to suffering a knee injury, he also completed a full Marathon in Houston, TX on his first try. Since 2009, when his daughter, Jules, started kindergarten, Joel has also been an active parent reader and Global Volunteer in Cypress Fairbanks School District.
