Although originally licensed in 1979, she took a 20 year hiatus to work an 8-5 job, raise family and continue her higher education. She has been back full time in residential real estate sales since 2011.

Caren, who is originally from Canada, moved to Texas in 1996 where she lived in the Northwest Houston area until moving to Montgomery County. After living on Lake Conroe for over 10 years, she now resides in The Woodlands. Her knowledge of both areas is extensive, and she enjoys showing off all the wonderful amenities these locations offer as well as the Greater Houston area. Prior to obtaining her Texas Real Estate License in 2002, Caren worked in the Design and Business Industries focusing on Marketing and Business Development. Brenda Olson and her family have been grateful to call The Woodlands, Texas home since 2014. Due to numerous personal military and corporate relocations she is very aware of the challenges that come with families transitioning nationally and internationally. Brenda gives back to her community as an Adjunct Math Professor at Lone Star College. She is also very involved with multiple charities including the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, the VCFS Education Foundation and the Montgomery County Women's Shelter. The Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund provides scholarships to Veterans and family members, particularly children of our nation's fallen and disabled soldiers. The VCFS (Velo Cardio Facial Syndrome) Educational Foundation educates people and individuals with VCFS/22.q.11 Syndrome about the genetic disorder. Brenda's volunteer efforts keep her engaged with the community and she donates a portion of her real estate commissions to these charities.
