Greg attended school at Baylor University and the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. While at the Illinois Institute of Art, he was a founding member of his school's Gay-Straight Alliance, P.R.O.U.D. (People Respecting Other's Unique Differences).
During his almost twenty-year career in the legal profession, he served as the Chair of the Houston City Group for the Legal Marketing Association in 2017 and then began a two-year term as a Director for the Southwest Region Board of Directors of LMA. In 2017 he was named "Rising Star" by the League of Women Voters. As a board member of Pride Houston, a key objective was to grow community awareness to include representation for every member of the LGBTQIA+ family in a year that celebrated the 50th anniversary of the historic riots that took place at the Stonewall Inn in 1969.
Greg recently completed his term as the first male president of the Houston Bar Association Auxiliary. By doing so, he was an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors of the Houston Bar Association. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Kiwanis Club of Houston, whose key objective is to serve the community through service projects fostering these ideas starting with high school students through their high school level, Key Club.
