Tomeka DeBruce, a Shreveport, LA native, honorably and proudly served her country in the United States Army for 25 years before retiring in 2018. Having traveled the world and lived in different places during her term of service, including other Texas cities, it was the vibrant hub of unique ethnic and cultural diversity and endless educational and career opportunities that drew her to the city of Houston where she earned a Master's Degree in Professional Communications and Digital Media from Texas Southern University. Go Tigers!!! During Tomeka's military service, she deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from 2013 to 2014. She also deployed to Soto Cano Honduras in support of Joint Task Force Bravo from 2010-2011. Tomeka has earned over 30 military awards, citations, and decorations, awarded for valor, leadership, education, and meritorious service. Tomeka learned advanced skills in leadership, teamwork, and organization, unique to the armed forces, and she brings them to bear in her Real Estate career to serve her buyers and sellers. Tomeka entered the Real Estate world because she wanted to emulate the wonderful experiences that she'd personally had with great agents as a buyer, while also meeting and helping new people accomplish homeownership, and she hasn't looked back. Tomeka is married and lives in Conroe, Tx with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching documentaries, and shooting and editing videos

Prior to joining Gary Greene, I spent 16 years working in Outside Sales and Business Development in the Oil & Gas Industry. I gained experience in the business world that provided me with an excellent attention to detail, unmatched negotiation skills to "close the deal" and a love of working with people. As a fifth generation Texan, I have spent my life in the State and attended Texas State University. In my personal time, I am an active member of the community and involved in numerous organizations including The Mayflower Society, St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church and served on multiple PTO boards as president. In addition, I have been active in the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution since 1996 served as Regent three times for the Spring Creek Chapter in The Woodlands. I have also served as a NSDAR State Chairman three times and am currently serving as the NSDAR State Vice Chairman committee for the State Regent's Products to benefit Brook Army Medical Center.
