Melissa “Mel” Aljoe was born in Singapore and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, where she graduated from Elkins High School. She attended Texas A & M University, College Station, TX, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in History and a Masters in Education. She moved to Houston and spent the next seven years as a high school history teacher and volleyball and golf coach.

When Melissa decided to make a career change she chose to become a full time professional Realtor. It has turned out to be a great choice because she has always had an interest in real estate, loves to meet new people, and loves to help her clients find the perfect homes for their families. In her spare time, Melissa loves her family, a good book, Aggie football, and spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. She is married to Jeremy Aljoe. I purchased, remodeled and sold numerous Houston homes, tending personally to all details from structural repairs to aesthetic finish. I became a licensed realtor 3 years ago and enjoy applying my skills to help other buyers and sellers achieve optimal investment outcomes. He is native to Houston but has also lived in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Lubbock and Dallas. He has a bachelor's degree in Communications from Texas Tech University and is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI). Joel also holds his Broker License from the Texas Real Estate Commission.
