Patti Miller has been selling real estate for the past twenty years. Ten years prior, she was in the hospitality industry and prior to that, graduated from the University of Texas in l975. I moved to Pasadena in 1971, it has been a wonderful experience to see this little town grow to be the big beautiful city that we have now. In 1974, my Broker and I got together and sold the north east side of Fairmont Parkway and Space Center to a group of Doctors. We developed the most beautiful subdivisions in Pasadena; Pasadena River Oaks, Santorini Estates and Colombian Village.(The only gated community in Pasadena). In 1976 I started building houses and selling real estate in this area. I went to University Houston to do my masters in Psychology and to learn the Real Estate and Construction field.

Native Houstonian Linda Ricca's professional portfolio includes a 20-year-plus, wide-ranging career of significant accomplishments within the health industry. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Linda earned a nursing degree from Houston Baptist University, practiced as an ICU nurse in the Texas Medical Center, transitioned into healthcare technology services and consulting, and finally moved into sales and executive oversight.

According to Linda, the dynamics of that previous career - managing multiple, detailed projects and providing guidance and counseling to families, clients and consultants - are similar to managing a real estate transaction. "In consulting, there were always new systems and processes to learn and new projects to develop and manage, as well as new clients and people to meet and assist, just as there are in real estate sales," she says. "There's also a strong emotional element present in both fields that requires caring, sensitivity, and understanding."

Linda uses her communication, service and financial skills to understand each client's unique situation and goals. A successful, proven business leader, she has a keen understanding of complex contracts and possesses the expertise and confidence to guide clients through their transactions from start to successful finish. "I am proactive and positive and continuously search for opportunities to learn more and share with clients what I learn so each transaction is better than the last."

Houston's traditional inner-Loop and near-Loop neighborhoods - Bellaire, West University, Tanglewood, Museum District and close-in Memorial - encompass the major areas where Linda sells. In addition to drawing on her innate knowledge as someone "born and raised in Houston and Sugar Land," Linda employs a wealth of valuable experience gained from working closely with her former husband, a residential builder, on many of his projects. "That exposure to the intricacies of home construction now helps me to assess a property's strengths and weaknesses and communicate that information to my clients. It also helps me explain inspection reports and contractual issues."

When not selling real estate, Linda is an officer on the Baylor College of Medicine Partnership Board and serves as Landscaping Lead for the Indian Circle Home Owners Association. Her leisure time includes traveling or at least getting away to the country whenever she can to spend time outdoors. Linda loves spending time with her daughter and son-in-law who live in LA and her son and daughter-in-law who live in Austin.
