Giving back to the community is important to Sharon’s values. She was a VP of Fundraising for Leadership Houston and is on the Advisory Board of The Children’s Museum. In 1996 she received the SAVVY Award for starting The Children’s Museum. She is also a member of the Houston Junior Forum, Leadership Houston and former President of Memorial Garden Club, Hunters Creek Garden Club and Anne Frank Hadassah.
