Marty Salinas is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and Certified General Appraiser with 15+ years of continuous valuation experience. Mr. Salinas joined Stouffer & Associates in 2021 and serves as the Managing Director of the Houston location. While he has recently focused his attention to the regional Houston area, Marty has experience appraising properties in 15 states and several locations throughout Mexico. He has held vice president positions with national firms including CBRE, Inc. and NAI Partners where he specialized in appraising income-producing properties. He has completed the Argus Enterprise software certification and is adept at appraising institutional core properties. Marty's primary practice areas include: commercial lending, general consulting, financial reporting, litigation, and estate planning. Additionally, he has experience working for law firms, appraisal management companies, banks, federal institutions, investment funds, and private owners. While Marty has traditionally produced appraisals, he has significant experience working for banks as a third-party external reviewer.

You must pick your property type whether it be townhome, condo, single family, or multifamily. You must define an area of interest. Prior to meeting be prepared to discuss your search in detail. All buyers must be preapproved prior to opening doors and I must speak to your lender. Additionally, I require a Buyer Rep Agreement. The Buyer Representation Agreement is a standard form to ensure I am paid for all the hard work I am going to do on your behalf. Lease applicants must answer my questionnaire. While real estate pays commissions, agents do not make commissions if we do not secure a property for our clients. Before leasing you must have a general area of where you want to live, have a 620 credit score or higher, inform me of any prior convictions or evictions (expect you may be required to pay several months up front), 3 pay stubs or recent Tax documents, and a valid ID. If you have pets, they must be preapproved. Expect that you will pay a non refundable deposit for pets. Expect that you will have to place down 1st months rent and equal deposit.
