A resident of Montgomery County for 30 years, Sonya Patterson possesses an unmatched knowledge about the area and its communities. Originally from Kingsville, TX, Sonya loves living in this area for its diverse population, friendly atmosphere, and amazing resources for family entertainment! This profound affection for the area, combined with her passion for working with people, led Sonya to pursue a career in real estate!

Prior to embarking on a career in real estate, Sonya’s interest in making a difference in the community led her to achieve her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. After graduating, she worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer for Montgomery County where she handled the Spanish speaking cases. Eventually, she became Court Coordinator for the Ninth District Court. Through her experience, she became well versed at working with families and developing relationships with outside parties in order to effectively manage every case.

ABOUT ME?? I'm deeply invested in our communities & am blessed to give back as a volunteer. For 18 years, I've been involved with Spring ISD district events. I was President of my son's elementary, middle & high school PTO because I KNOW supporting our teachers, admin & schools is essential in our children's success.

For 8 years, I have also been a Director for the Houston Police Family Support Unit. We help HPD officers injured on duty, provide financial support, fundraising, unite the community with our blue family & also take the kids of our fallen HPD officers on an annual Christmas shopping spree.

Fun times? I LOVE shooting competitively & find it such a challenging activity. I'm the Texas rep for a fantastic holster company that creates custom, quality work for any weapons.

I am living in my Bonus Dias. Why, you ask? I should have died 16 years ago when I broke 3 bones in my neck from a bad car accident. Doctors said I'd not be able to walk again due to the severity of the spinal damage. But God..I have had multiple spinal/neck surgeries since then & use the energy in appreciating every extra day I get to drive me in being a TOP agent.
